NOIR is part of the new fetish movement raising the bar in Vancouver, and our amazing venue ChapelArts is a big part of the reason why! So when ChapelArts husband and wife owners announced that they were going to take their first vacation in years and that we couldn’t run on our usual third weekend of the month we understood. When they got back to us after we announced that fact to say they had, in fact, decided to postpone their plans we were floored!

They’ve welcomed the fetish crowd, they’ve built us a new coat check room, and now they’ve changed their vacation plans for us! When you see Nathan and Chris be sure to let them know just how much we appreicate the love they’ve shown us! And thank you, NOIR attendees, for being such a fabulous crowd that you’ve engendered the great warmth they’ve shown us!

MEMBERSHIPS

At our March party we sold more than half of the NOIR memberships that were on offer! This month they’ll again be on sale, and those who purchased memberships and opted to pick up their Membership Card rather than having it mailed to them will be able to do so at this party.

We’re going to be selling a maximum of 100 of these, at $50 for a year’s membership.

We’ll have FULL DETAILS on all the benefits of membership SOON, but here’s the basics:

• Entitled to the early bird entry rate even after 10pm
• Access to the Member/priority line up upon arrival
• 10% Discount at Deadly Couture on regularly price merchandise
• 15% Discount at Millenium on regularly price merchandise
• 10% Discount at PRIAPE on regularly price merchandise
• 10% Discount at Why Knot’s Curiosities on regularly price merchandise
• Special NOIR members offers!

Memberships will expire 12 months from the last day of the month of purchase. Memberships purchased in March of 2013 will expire March 31, 2014, for example.

If you plan on attending every regular NOIR Fetish Ball in a year the savings alone is $48.

For some people the savings on fetish attire alone in a year will amount to more than the cost of membership!

NOIR is happy to let you know that this coming weekend our friends at Rubbout, Vancouer’s rubber weekend for men, are celebrating Rubbout 22! That’s right, 22! This weekend for rubber fetishists and enthusiasts is Vancouver’s longest consistently running kink event, and North America’s longest running annual Rubber weekend.

There’s plenty happening all weekend, and it’s not all open to men only! You can find out all the details on the weekend by heading over to the Rubbout website, and you’ll find the schedule here as well. We’d also recommend heading over to Erotic Vancouver Magazine this Monday to read their interview with Rubbout frontmen past and present, including some of the exciting plans surrounding this years Rubbout.

NOTE: While the Rubbout is billed as Vancouver’s Rubber Weekend for Men, all events with the exception of Saturday night’s play party and the closing brunch on Sunday are open to everyone, regardless of gender.
