NOIR January Newsletter
Hello Noir-ites and welcome to 2012. The year ahead promises exciting times for fetish and kink in Vancouver, and it all starts off with a bang in January.
The start of the year brings with it a new fetish night, the Taboo Sex Show with its dungeon featuring many of the players in the local kink community, and in February MVK’s ambitious WestWard Bound conference. And of course Saturday January 21st, and then the third Saturday of every month, features our own NOIR Fetish Ball at The Cobalt.

NOIR Saturday January 21st
NOIR kicks off the new year with our first party of 2012. Happening the same weekend as the Taboo Sex Show we expect that, just like last year, this will be a very busy party, and the perfect way for you to kick off your kink in 2012 if you haven’t already.

Vancouver Underground launches new Fetish Night
On Friday January 6th Vancouver Undground launches RIP. Check out the info on this exciting new night on their website. We expect to be hearing more from this addition to the local scene in the coming months, and you’ll find them in the dungeon at the Taboo Sex Show later this month. (More on that below.)
MVK News
Metro Vancouver Kink has their first play party of the year on Saturday, January 7th, and you should take advantage of that time to get one of the hottest tickets in kink in 2012 a ticket to the Westward Bound Conference happening February 3rd to 5th.

Taboo Sex Show
The Taboo Sex Show happens from January 19-22, and NOIR is excited to be joining Sin City, Vancouver Underground, and MVK as ambassadors of kink in the dungeon there.
The dungeon will feature kinky play demos from active members of our community, and you’re invited down to take part in the play if you’d like.
NOIR is also looking for volunteers to help staff our booth during the show, and if you’re interested we’d like to hear from you at info@noirvancouver.com. Please put “Taboo Volunteering” in the subject line.

Deadly Couture Fetish Art Show – Call for Submissions
Deadly Couture is planning a fetish art show which will open at Sin City on Saturday, February 11, and then will run for three weeks at their store.
If you’re an artist you can check out the submission guidelines on their Facebook event listing. Everyone else should make a point of checking out the show, either at Sin City or in the store.
Continuing contributing to a worthy cause – PACE
In 2011 NOIR designated PACE as our charity of choice, and we’ll be continuing to be doing our small part to help this important cause raise funds in 2012.
We’re excited to be able to announce that between the combined efforts of NOIR and Sin City, along with our special one off fundraiser for them in June, we were able to raise $3,725 for PACE.
